One House, Two Homes, Built From the Studs Up 

This three-story brick home had good bones and a lot of years showing. We took it down to the studs and rebuilt it as two apartments, each with a new kitchen and bathrooms. Highlights include hand-glazed green tile, warm wood cabinetry, black penny tile, and a walk-in slate shower with a herringbone marble floor. The result is two modern homes that still honor the building’s history.
